Microsoft has mastered the Art of War and knows that Partners are tired. I understand after the hardest 2yrs we have just had that we are all tired.

The channel spoke loudly and after just one week we got our way. We knew back in 2019 they would start this again and I can tell you in 2025 they will do it again also.Ģ019 was a David and Goliath battle with Microsoft and we won because we worked as one. It’s a typical squeezing that happens with big business. With each and every change Microsoft has attempted to make over the last few years it’s always been a direct attack on the partners. Without Partners the whole Microsoft ecosystem collapses. What happened to being rewarded for nurturing and retention? Why not make 70% of the target based on education and skilling partners? The education component is a small fraction. Looking at the October 2022 changes 70% of the targets are about selling new products. If we truly have the best interest of the customer at heart than how does putting an emphasis on selling product help that cause? The emphasis must always be on educating and service in the channel.

The issue here is that Partners have been stepped upon relentlessly by Microsoft for many years now.
